How To Create the Perfect Plum Lips

I love getting dressed up. I don’t think it’s silly. I don’t think it is trivial. In fact I see it as another form of self expression and a way I can say something refreshing about who I am and how I feel.

Deciding what piece of clothing goes with another in unexpected combinations is something I enjoy, I wish I could say I had the same talent for makeup. I’m not that good at it. I suppose that’s why I keep everything simple, invest in great brushes and hire a professional when I’m heading out the door to an event that’s significant.

In this video I’m going to show you how to do a bold plum lip starting with a fuchsia colour. I find it the easiest part of my face to get dolled up, and yet it still requires a bit of technique, like starting with a good homemade sugar scrub. Now to balance off the rich colour I keep the rest of my makeup minimal as you’ll see here, all I use after is a dash of powder and a touch of mascara.

I hope you are inspired and find this video heaps of fun.
