Aabida is an enthusiastic, focused and organised award winning writer, hobbyist photographer and designer. And sometimes a bit of a control freak, but she’s the kind of person who wants to change the world for the better and is not afraid to tell you how you might be making a mess of it.
A UWI graduate, Aabida is talented when it comes to planning, managing, and coordinating public relations campaigns online and she has a strong grasp of communication technology systems. She uses a camera like a microscope and sees things the eyes just won’t. Perhaps that’s what makes her so detailed.
Prior to her time at Mango Media Caribbean, Aabida worked on some of the most innovative, and investigative, news media projects to come out of Trinidad and Tobago while she was as a journalist at one of the countries premiere newspaper like the ‘Money for Surgeries Scandal’ at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, ‘The Signing of Airport Contracts without a Board by then Works Minister Jack Warner’ and ‘The Impact of Poverty on Crime’.
Always ready to take on a challenge, Aabida is currently unleashing her skill for storytelling on Mango Media Caribbean’s social media through some really awesome copy.
